For Your Viewing Pleasure
On our drive home from work today, my wife made the observation that I've been blogging too much about the bird flu. Well, this may just be the last bird flu entry. I'm not sure anything can top this:
You know, this whole thing has started to bother me. All along, I've been minding my own business, thinking how ridiculous it is to have to talk about staying away from bird feces. And then it hit me. How many times I have to clean off my kids' outdoor toys, and how often they do it. And what are we cleaning off a good deal of the time? Yep, you guessed it - bird feces. So...while eating it is not an issue for us, I guess I've got to have a conversation with them about not touching it, and remind myself of the same. Yikes! I think for veggie dip, we'll stick to hummus (or houmous, if you live where I do). ~J in the UK
