The Real Cause Of Darfur

In an opinion column published in the Washington Post, U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said that "the Darfur conflict began as an ecological crisis, arising at least in part from climate change."

There may be some connection to climate, but the REAL solution to the Darfur's of the world is to drastically overhaul the United Nations, specifically:

If we trust the concept of democracy, we need to reflect it within the UN.

I agree that the climate change reason is crap. What we need is for some one to just go in and take over, much like Bush did in Iraq, and build a government from the ground up. We move some of the Christian children from the area to the US. Train and educate them here and groom them for the leadership roles in the new government. Also, we set up churches and spread the gospel and bring the area back to its Christian roots. Until the Khatourm government is brought down, and the Janjaweed militia man are disciplined properly for their actions, public hangings or firing squads, then nothing will change. I understand that the Bush administration hasn't taken any action because our military is overextended as it is already, but what about all the other countries of the world. Why do they wait until we charge the lines before they fall in behind?
